The Malegaon administration has been successful in removing encroachments from the Mohammad Ali Road. Approximately 190 structures were removed from the area of Bhiku Chowk.

It was noticed that due to the strict and firm approach of the administration the encroachers themselves removed most of these encroachments. The administration assisted them in carrying the rubble to designated areas, which was welcomed by the people.

This was the third day of the clearing operations. In all more than 600 structures have been removed. The unauthorized structures included Shops, Sign Boards and pavements constructed by the residents. After these clearing operations it is the first time that smooth traffic was experienced on the Mohammad Ali Road.
