Nashik. Bytco Chowk is the most important circle in Nashik Road and is the outlet leading towards Pune. The Nashik Municipal Corporation spent Rs 28 Crores to construct a flyover on this circle to ensure smooth traffic.

There were numerous encroachments in the area. These were removed by the corporation. Yet the desired result has not been achieved. The road is being occupied by Auto rickshaws and hawkers. They are a major hindrance to the traffic. This is leading to congestion of traffic. Commuters towards Devlali Camp and Bhagur feel the brunt of this congestion as at times they have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

This problem will further aggravate during Kumbh Mela. The Police have a Patrol Post very close by. Yet the police is doing nothing to clear the traffic. The police will have to take immediate action to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
