Harry Potter star stabbed to death
Robert Knox, an 18 year old actor, set to appear in the latest Harry Potter movie was stabbed to death in a bar fight on May 24th.
Robert, who plays Ravenclaw student Marcus Belby in the film, had just finished work on ‘Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince’, which is due to be released later this year.
He was stabbed in a fight outside the Metro bar in the early hours of 25th May in Sidcup, Kent.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, southeast London, where he was pronounced dead. Four other men were also hurt in the fight
Knox was reportedly trying to protect his younger brother from a knife yielding man in a fight outside the bar, which also left three other people with serious injuries.
In a statement released yesterday, his parents said, “Rob was kind and thoughtful and would always help out others; he would always spend his last penny on other people instead of himself.
“The life and soul of the party, he was very outgoing, loved sports and would always strike up a conversation with people. He was respectful to others and adored by his family and friends.”
Police has arrested a 21-year-old over the incident, which is said to have been caused by accusations of a stolen mobile phone.
