Requests for transfers being scrutinized
Nashik. We had reported earlier regarding the large-scale dissatisfaction in the transfer orders of the Class III and Class IV employees of various government departments. It is learnt that 500 employees from Education Department and 150 Employees from the Health department have requested for a change in transfer orders. Their applications have been forwarded to the concerned officers in the state administration.
Mr Sharad Wadekar, the spokesman for the administration, has said that the transfers have been ordered after due diligence. All factors like seniority of employees, their family background and options and also their past records have been considered before ordering the transfers. The administration was trying to rationalize the holding of staff with various departments.
He said that the applications would be disposed off in a very expeditious manner. He also said that employees should consider the overall interest of the organization in mind before asking a change.
