The greatest buzz this season is about Harman Baweja’s debut in the much awaited science fiction movie, Love Story 2050.

But Harman is faced with caustic comments. One that he has got it lucky because he is a star son and second that his image is a rip off of Hrithik Roshan.

Harman is teased that he has got it lucky that his debut Love Story 2050 has been financed an astronomical $12 million by his father Harry Baweja.

But he refutes the argument thus,” If you were from a business family, wouldn’t you find it easier to make an entry in your father’s company? I belong to a family where nothing was thrust on me and no one forced me to become an actor.”

He also cannot get the Hrithik factor behind him. They have the same good looks, the same aquiline features, the same trim physique, the same light colored eyes, the same dance moves and fathers who spent tonnes of money to launch their career.

Harman Baweja’s laying the blame for this resemblance to Hrithik squarely on his parents. “If I resemble somebody, it’s not my fault. My mom and dad have done that. I have not done any plastic surgery to get those looks. I believe every newcomer will be compared [to somebody else],” he said practically.

Harman Baweja is waiting with baited breath for the box office verdict of Love Story 2050, which is a milestone in Hindi cinema in terms of budget and special effects.

“I obviously want it to succeed. As an actor, I’d like to be accepted but more than that I know how hard everyone has worked on this film. Creative people from different departments (including my parents) got together to make this film and worked extra hard because it was my debut film. I can’t explain it to you but it is a lot of responsibility that I’m shouldering,” says Harman Baweja.

Ultimately the box office will deliver the verdict whether Harman is a poor imitation of Hrithik and whether the big budget Love Story 2050 will click with the masses.
