Pune. It is a chilling real life story of a Hindi Thriller. Aditi Sharma and her boyfriend Praveen Khandelwal of the IIHM MBA institute at Wakad, Pune were sentenced to life imprisonment by Additional Sessions Judge S S Phansalkar Joshi for the murder of Udit Bharati.

Aditi and Udit, both hailing from Jammu, came to Pune for education. It is learnt that they had already decided to marry with parental consent. Aditi fell in love with Praveen Khandelwal, a friend of Udit. She wanted to change her relationship with Udit.

Aditi and Praveen picked up jobs in Gurgaon to get away from Udit. But apparently Udit continued to remain in touch with them. Aditi and Praveen finally decided to eliminate Udit by poisoning him. They returned to Pune and invited him to McDonald outlet in Chinchwad. There he was offered “Prasad” by the duo, which was laced with arsenic. Udit died of the poisoning.
