Saif Ali Khan has re-iterated that his relationship with Kareena Kapoor is for keeps.

He is irritated by reports that he is hounding Kareena with his attention. He counters, “Of course, I want to be with her as much as I can. My regret is we can’t be together more often. We’re uncannily similar people and I’ve only now begun to understand why I need to be with her constantly.”

Earlier this month he had flown to Amsterdam to be with her where she was performing. “I went there for myself, not for her. I understand people want to put our relationship under a microscope. But there’s only so much that they can know or perceive,” said Saif.

He declares that other than Amrita and his children, this is the most important relationship in his life, ever. He was ready to make it legal. In fact he was contemplating marriage much sooner than the three-year period they had set earlier.

“In fact people may be hearing an announcement from us very soon. If I had my way I’d marry her today, right here in London, where she’s joined me.”, he quipped.

He was pragmatic that his children would need time to get used to the new shift in relationships. But he was happy that every one would finally accept that his relationship with Kareena was for keeps.
