After winning over audiences with his superb performances, Actor Shah Rukh Khan is all set to enter a new genre- that of the animation world.

He calls it his” gift for children”. His Red Chillies Entertainment is all set to create an animation flick based on the character of Ravana in the epic, Ramayana. SRK will use the latest technology and modern film making techniques for this movie about this classic villain.

Apparently Anubhav Sinha has been signed on as director of this animation movie. Lavish preparations have begun for the shooting of this movie. The Producer and director are negotiating and the script is being finalized.

Red Chillies has a state of the art studio with a superb SFX team, which have already demonstrated their expertise in the film Om Shanti Om. Besides SRK himself is taking personal interest in the making of the movie.

Is this the beginning of a successful foray into the animation world for SRK? Time will tell.
