Arushi Talwar Murder Case
The Arushi Talwar murder case appears to have become very complex for the CBI to resolve. A quick recap of the events is in order as it is close to two months from the date of murder, 16 May 2008.
Aarushi aged 14, was found dead in her apartment in Jal Vayu Vihar, Noida. On 16 May the police named Hemraj as the main accused. Ironically the dead body of the accused was also discovered in the same house that afternoon. After this discovery the police backtracked their statement.
On 23 May 2008 Dr Talwar, Arushi;s father, was arrested as the prime accused for the murder. The day again saw large scale bungling by the police with Noida Police and UP Police issuing contradictory statements.
Later the case was handed over to CBI. With the CBI taking over, the needle of suspicion turned towards Krishna, the Compounder of Dr Talwar. Krishna was subjected to Narco tests. Although some clues were obtained the results were not conclusive. This was followed by yet another goof up, with the CBI claiming that Krishna had confessed his involvement. However, this was denied by his lawyer. Thereafter the next person to be found on the Radar Screen was Rajkumar, the domestic help of Durranis. He was arrested on 27th June. He is supposed to posses a bloodstained T Shirt and also have knowledge about the mobile phones of Arushi and Hemraj.
There are allegations that Dr Talwar and his wife Nupur Talwar were not present in the home when the murders took place. The Talwars have vociferously denied this and Nupur Talwar is reported to have visited the CBI headquarters on Lodhi Road in Delhi and complained about concocted stories in the Media. The case has really got very mysterious now.
CBI has also alleged that Dr Talwar is not co-operating with them. This turns the case in a full circle. Hopefully the agency manages some conclusive findings in the days ahead.

Well summarized. There seems to be more interest to go public with theories rather than investigate for and with real data.
What the item missed out is the fact that, even though there is no conclusive proof, our legal system has allowed the father to be imprisoned for all these days, followed by Krishna and now, Rajkumar too. It appears for general public, the rule is ‘guilty until proven innocent’. This however has no rub off on the vary (ir)responsible, senior police officers who broke all rules of investigative work and went public on live TV with their theories of how the father killed his daughter. Is there any action being taken on these officers? Is there any chance that they will not repeat similar things when they are in another case? Does press care about these things?
Regards.
C.B.I. IS NOTORIOUS FOR MAKING SMOKE-REPORT RECENTLY
ANOTHER CBI CASE OF “MR. J.P.MALHOTRA & CORPSES” HEADED BY DR. RAGHVAN AND DR. R.B. BINDRA , A TEAM OF EIGHT OFFICERS ;INVESTIGATING
A CASE OF HUMAN RIGHT VOILATION (PARAPSYCHOLOGY AND BODY CONTROL)
IS A BLEMISH ON CBI DEPARTMENT AND INDIAN CONSTITUTION.
FIRST OF ALL, THE CASE DOES NOT DESERVED CBI ATTENTION AT FIRST SIGHT. WHEN AN EIGHT MEMBER OF CBI TEAM WAS APPOINTED IT TOOK YEARS
TO INVESTIGATE AND THE WHOLE REPORT IS SMOKE.
IT IS SAID THAT MR.J.P.MALHOTRA HAD APPOINTED C.B.I. THROUGH POLICAL SUPPORT AND THEN HE BRIBED EVERY C.B.I. OFFICERS LAKHS OF RUPEES.
IF THE CASE IS REOPENED ; MR.J.P.MALHOTRA AND COMPANY WILL BE SENTENCED FOR AT LEAST 50 YEARS.
EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE NUMEROUS STRONG EVIDENCES AGAINST MR.J.P. MALHOTRA; THE C.B.I. TEAM TRIED TO GIVE HIM A CLEAN CHIT.
WHETHER IT IS ARUSHI MURDER CASE OR ANY OTHER;
JUST TRY TO RECALL, WHEN C.B.I.COME OUT WITH STRONG EVIDENCES AND SOLVED A CASE CLINICALLY!
