MySpace on your mobile
The paradigm shift from the internet to mobiles is already underway. MySpace has announced that it will make its application available to users on iPhones. The application will be marketed through Apple’s application stores.
The application is being launched in 12 languages to begin with. It will include all features of the Social networking application like chatting, profiles and uploading pictures. Special changes have been made to the application to adapt to mobile phones.
Chris DeWolfe, CEO and Co-Founder of MySpace, said, “The global MySpace community will love MySpace Mobile on iPhone. With its rich features it empowers the community with complete control over their global MySpace network right from the palm of their hand.”
MySpace appears to be taking the lead in social networking on mobiles. The mobile website of MySpace was launched last year. 3 million users are already using the application. The tie up with Apple is likely to provide a shot in the arm to the site.
