After 50 days of the detention in a jail in Ghaziabad Dr Talwar is finally back home. All the legal formalities were completed by his relatives, which included furnishing a bond of Rs 5 Lacs, and Dr Talwar was brought to his home by his brother.He visited a temple and his mother in law’s house before returning to his residence.

Dr Talwar was in no mood to speak to the media. “Please let me spend some time with my family. In the past 50 days I have not been able to share my grief with anyone,” Talwar said. He wanted to rest and reunite with his family. The grief of his daughters death is still surrounding him.
In the meanwhile there are reports galore in the media regarding Dr Talwar filing for defamation against the Police and the CBI. When questioned about it this is what Dr Talwar had to say. “This entire episode is the biggest grief of my life. Allow me to share the grief with my family because for the last 50 days we have not been together.”
