Microsoft Press Conference at E3 – Xbox set to rock
The E3 was officially kicked off with a press conference by Microsoft. A slew of new games and peripherals for the Xbox 360 were announced. Microsoft also came up with estimates that the Xbox will sell more than the PS3 and the Wii.
Welcoming the audience with a giant screen behind him,Microsoft’s head of strategy and business development, Shane Kim, said “Hello, and welcome to the party! We’re inviting more people to 360 than ever before. Last year we featured an amazing lineup of games, and this year is no different”.
There were impressive demos of Bethesda’s Fallout 3, Capcom’s Resident Evil 5, Fable 2 Gears of War 2 and many more games. For the arcade fans Geometry Wars and Galaga Legion were unveiled. The RPG fans can expect Infinite Undiscovery in Sep 2008, Star Ocean: The Last Hope in the spring of 2009 and The Last Remnant to be released around Christmas this year.
