Metal Gear Solid 4 has emerged as the top selling game in the US for the month of June 2008. Consequently the number of PlaysStation 3 units sold have also reported a dramatic increase.

The overall sales of the video game industry are reported to be $ 8.3 Billion for the first half of the year which is a phenomenal rise when compared to the previous year.
