Nashik. The atmosphere is tense in the city after the bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Monday was full of bomb scares at various places. The first bomb scare came up at the grounds next to Nehru Park. Many people had gathered for recruitment rally of the Security Forces.

An object which was suspected to be bomb was identified. Before the Bomb Disposal Squad could arrive at the spot the object was cleared by the Fire Department and it turned out to be a hoax call.

The second scare was because of an unidentified suitcase in Nihar Society in Nashik Road. After hours of speculation about the object and informing the police the rightful owner of the suitcase was traced. The Police are taking no chances considering the heightened threat.
