Leading actress Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan took a day off from their Unforgettable tour to be at the side of her father who is undergoing treatment for cancer.

Aishwarya was all admiration for the strength and resilience of her father in dealing with the disease.

When asked about her father, she replied,” My father is such a strong man. And so is my mother. They’re both going through his illness and recuperation together. My father is the strongest man I know. He’s my inspiration. My dad’s faith in the power of healing is very strong. I feel his strength and also the love of all those who feel genuine concern for him. He has gone through his second cycle of chemotherapy and now he’s going through his third. It’s not easy for us.”

These are anxious moments for Aishwarya Rai and her family.
