Mobile telephones are now being used extensively to automate day-to-day functions that were initially done manually and there after automated using computers and Internet. In the days ahead mobile phones are likely to replace almost all functions done by laptops.

XIUS-bcgi is the telecom unit of Megasoft Limited. XIUS-bcgi has announced the launch of eCogNito, an end-to-end mobile transaction platform. India’s largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with XIUS-bcgi. The eCogNito will be offered as a pilot to Bharti Airtel.

“Our eCogNito solution offers mobile network operators a quantum leap in operational efficiency of their revenue assurance systems by providing anytime, anywhere electronic talk time charging and bill payment in self service mode,” stated Sunny DeWakar, president of XIUS-bcgi’s eCogNito division. The application will help Bharti Airtel to roll out their M Commerce services with speed.
