A number of students from rural areas come to Nashik and Nashik Road for education. These students have to use the bus service of the Maharashtra State Transport. On a number of occasions the buses are already overloaded and do not stop in these areas.

Palse village is one such area that is severely affected by the bus service. A number of students from the area come to Nashik Road for education. For the last three to four weeks the students have made a demand for a proper bus halt at Palse. However their plea has fallen on deaf ears.

The frustrated students finally resorted to stone throwing. A few incidents of stoning of the buses of the State Transport have been reported. The MSRTC needs to take a serious cognizance of the issue.
