The multi talented Singer-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya returns to the screen with Karzzz -the remake of the 1980’s movie Karz.

He will star as the hero in place of Rishi Kapoor and his heroine will be Shweta Kumar daughter of Indra kumar making her debut and reprising the role of Tina Munim. The reincarnation drama also stars Urmila Matondkar, Gulshan Grover, Danny Denzongpa, Rohini Hatangadi and Raj Babbar.

Directed by Satish Kaushik , it is all set for release on 17 October 2008. The promos of the film have started airing on all major channels from 15 August onwards. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, Big Pictures is releasing the film worldwide.

While one may not exactly vouch for Himesh’s acting prowess, the multi-talented star seems to have high hopes from the film.

“The audience has a lot of expectations from me. The entire crew of the film has worked very hard on this film and we hope the audience appreciated the film,” he says.

Himesh Reshammiya is in an entirely new package: He is sans his trademark cap and he is not only singing and romancing but also beating up goons.

Hope the experiment pulls off.
