Actress Shilpa Shetty has struck gold- She has become the highest paid female anchor on television.

Shilpa Shetty is apparently being paid Rs 10 crore to host second season of Big Boss reality show on Colors channel. Big Boss is an Indian spin off of British Big Brother reality show.

Shilpa had hit international headlines by winning the Big Brother show in Britain. She won, riding on a wave of sympathy as her British co-star Jade Goody had attacked her with racist slurs.

Incidentally, Jade Goody who attained notoriety in Big Brother program has been roped into participate in Big Boss apparently for a hefty sum of 100,000 pounds.

Makers of Big Boss thus wants to cash in the popularity gained by Shilpa Shetty during Big Brother.
