Sony Ericsson R300 phone got launched in India. The new phone which supports AM and FM frequency channels aims to target the entry level buyers as its potential customer. The phone is designed to make live entertainment shows on FM channels as well as live cricket commentary on AM channels accessible to its users. The hand set is available in two colours like copper and black and it will cost approximately Rs. 4,395.

The phone features a voice recording as well as radio recording function along with volume boosters for clarity of sound. The other features that the phone boasts of include an integrated camera,loud speaker,alarm clock with radio,MP3 ringtones,bluetooth experience,and predictive text input.

Besides,the R300 sports a 65k color, 128×160 pixel TFT display and 8MB internal memory. The phone also has a ‘preset’ button allowing users to switch easily between various radio stations. But,this is not the only one in Radio category handsets manufactured by Sony Ericsson. The company will soon launch R306 model with 1.3 mega pixel camera which will cost around 6,000 Rs.
