Film Rock On has hit the jackpot at the box office and it is rumored that now Rock On will be dubbed in English and release in key international markets.

Another rumour doing the rounds is that Rock On-2 is on the anvil. But producer Ritesh Sidhwani clarifies “Completely un true. We have no such plans, We’re busy enjoying the success. Just can’t think of anything else.”

The cast and crew are basking in the success of the good showing of Rock On. On Tuesday the cast arrived at a Mumbai Multiplex to watch the movie along with the audience and were delighted at the audience response.

“I am relieved and very excited and thankful. It’s really been exhilarating, especially just now, we have gone into the theatre and seen the crowd reaction there - it’s phenomenal, could not have asked for more,” said Farhan Akhtar, lead actor.

Prachi Desai who plays the gifted rock star’s wife in the film has even described it as one of the best moments in her life.” For the last four days I have only been smiling, and so happy…Before the release I was so nervous,” she admits.

For Arjun Rampal whose scene stealing performance as a failed guitarist struck a chord with audiences and critics alike, a promotional appearance is a good way to ‘thank the fans.’

“It feels fantastic, we are relieved and very happy and proud to see that this film has done well not only in the cities but all over India and even all over the world. I am just coming here to thank everybody. It’s nice if you are free and can come and meet your audience live.”

Following the success of the film, the cast has bigger plans - the cast of Rock On is set to jam in Delhi on September 6.
