India’s nightingale Asha Bhosle celebrated her 75th birthday on Monday and on the following day, her daughter Varsha Bhosle was admitted in Jaslok hospital after an overdose of medication.

Reportedly, Varsha was rushed to the Jaslok Hospital at 4.30 a.m. by a family member following which she was admitted in the ICU. Varsha who is on the wrong side of fifty is a journalist by profession and is a divorcee.

The doctors reported her condition to be stable later in the day though it was critical in the morning. The authorities are waiting to find out if it is an suicide attempt once Varsha regains her consciousness. Dr.J D Sonawala of Jaslok hospital is attending Varsha and he refused to disclose any other details since it involves breach of patients’ privacy.
