Kareena Kapoor and beau Saif Ali Khan have apparently brought a rapprochement between sister Karisma Kapoor and hubby Sunjay Kapur.

Kareena confirmed the news and said,” My sister is in Delhi with her husband.” This was after Karisma made a brief appearance walking the ramp for Manav Gangwani at the HDIL India Couture Week.

Two years ago, Karisma had moved to Mumbai with daughter Samaira after her marriage collapsed. But she has recently returned to Delhi to give the broken relationship a second shot. All this while, Kareena kept in touch with Sunjay and even encouraged her sister to let him meet Samaira whenever he wanted to. Giving support to Kareena was beau Saif, who gets along well with both Karisma and Sunjay.

According to a source, the reconciliation has been brought about mainly for their daughter’s sake. “Karisma really wants her marriage to work for Samaira’s sake. She’s put aside all thoughts of making a comeback to films and has gone back to Delhi, hopefully for good,” said a source.

Commenting on the recent development, Kareena Kapoor said, “I do miss Karisma and my niece a lot. But I keep visiting them in Delhi whenever I can. And my sister too keeps coming to Mumbai.”

Kareena Kapoor is spending her birthday today shooting in Ladakh with Aamir Khan for Idiots, after which, she says, she will drive down to Delhi to see Karisma.
