The rift between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has divided the industry into two camps. The Bachchan family has been relentlessly wooed by both parties. But Shah Rukh Khan seems to have edged out Salman Khan, with the latest buzz that the Bachchan family invited Shah Rukh Khan to the premiere of Drona and ignored Salman Khan.

Some argue that Salman was away in London for a shoot, so couldn’t make it for the function.. But the fact is that his family members were also ignored for the premiere of Drona. The director and his family, the Behls, apparently ignored them in deference to the wishes of the Bachchans.

A source said, “That’s true. Salman was not invited. As far as the film’s makers (the Behls) were concerned no one who insults their family, gets invited to a big day in their life. The Bachchans are more than family to Goldie and Shrishti Behl.”

Apparently Salman Khan’s family spread rumours that Shah Rukh khan had made inappropriate remarks about Aishwarya Rai during the Salman- Shah Rukh spat. But Amitabh Bachchan and others rubbished these rumours and invited Shah Rukh Khan to the premiere. By ignoring Salman Khan, he also saved Aishwarya Rai of the embarrassment of meeting her ex-lover.
