The Canadian manufacturer of BlackBerry, Research in Motion (RIM) decided to launch retail outlets in India in addition to the operators and other retailers with whom it has tied up in India.The company is reportedly in talks with RPG Cellucom, HotSpot, Mobile Store and Mobile Kingdom in this regard.

Research in Motion (RIM) also launched BlackBerry Storm on October 7 and this is the first ever full touch-screen phone from RIM. RIM informed that the Storm will be available exclusively to Verizon customers in the U.S. and Vodafone customers in Europe, India, Australia and New Zealand in the fall.
