The Crown Princess of Sweden- Victoria, heir to the throne of Sweden, has invited actor Aamir Khan for an exclusive rendezvous over dinner as a part of her ongoing state visit to India.

According to reports, the Princess Victoria has developed a liking for Aamir Khan and is highly appreciative of the actor’s work and contribution to Indian cinema, especially after watching ‘Taare Zameen Par’, which is also India’s official entry to the Oscar Awards this year.

Princess Victoria is expected to meet Aamir on Tuesday. The actor took this invitation as recognition of his work and said that he was pleasantly surprised by it. When asked to elaborate on the same the actor exclaimed “It is a privilege to receive a special invitation like this.”

This is a first for an Indian actor to be feted by a visiting foreign monarch.
