James Bond is back- this time in Quantum of Solace. Shot across the world in locations like Austria, Italy, Haiti and South America, this bond Adventure promises to be better and bolder.

The actors of the flick are totally upbeat about the movie. Says Daniel Craig,” The style of the movie, I’m very very happy with, I think we’ve nodded to the old Bonds, and we’ve bought in new ideas but we’ve made an incredibly individual modern movie, so I couldn’t happier with it. The hope is that somewhere in some department of the government knows what they’re doing and that’s what all Bond movies have always been about.” Says Olga Kurylenko, “I still got surprised, because of course, you think, it’s that intense. All this put together, it’s like, this movie, is just, an explosion, it’s so intense.”

Daniel Craig’s latest outing is about seeking solace. 007’s ‘ Quantum of Solace‘ picks up from the previous ‘Casino Royale‘ where the love of his life, Vesper betrays him. The sequel picks up from this unresolved mystery of who was Vesper working for. When M and Bond investigate further, they find out about the menacing organization Quantum. And Bond seeks revenge. This time the film has distinct political overtones

Director Marc Foster explains , “I didn’t want to make a political film, but it was important to get a political tapestry in the movie, it makes it more real and that, I think is an important element for me because it would set bond in a reality.”

Marc Foster so far is best known for dramas like ‘Monster’s Ball’ and ‘Finding Neverland’ — Quantum of Solace is his most massive big screen adventure so far. But the filmmaker has stuck to focusing on humanizing his characters even in the Bond film. And the leading lady once again is a no nonsense woman on a mission of her own.

With Mathew Alamric as the evil Dominic Green chasing the world’s natural resource base, and actors like Giancarlo Giannini also featured, Quantum promises to be an exciting , rollicking ride..
