The much buzzed about movie Fashion will be premiered in Dubai according to Director Madhur Bhandarkar.

Madhur who loves to portray ‘reality’ and loves to investigate themes , has decided to release the movie in Dubai first since, he says, “people will be busy in Diwali celebrations here”.

The fashion industry in India is keeping its fingers crossed and fears that the movie might show the industry in the bad light. Madhur Bhandarkar has tried to assuage their fears in a media interview saying that “their fears will be gone once they watch the movie.”

The film will be released worldwide with 700 prints. The last movie to be premiered at Dubai was Kidnap who didn’t do any good at the box office. ‘Fashion’ features some well known actresses including former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and debutante Mugdha Godse.

The film which is in the limelight since long will hit theatres on 29th October, the very same day when two other mega movies hit the Friday circuits, Golmaal Returns and EMI
