Proud father –in-law Amitabh Bachchan has given warm wishes to Aishwarya Rai on her 35th birthday on November 1st.

In an interview given to a news daily, Pa-in-law was effusive with his words, “I am proud of Aishwarya and her achievements. I wish her peace, prosperity, good health and a harmonious life. I am proud that she is my daughter-in-law. My son chose her to be his wife and we are most happy with his decision. The fact that she comes with added personal credentials makes us happy too. But even if she did not, we would have been equally proud and happy.”

Big B has maintained that Aishwarya Rai satisfies his interpretation of a friend; one that signifies a close personal relationship of mutual affection and trust.
