Contrary to appearances, the grapevine has it that Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham had a cold war on, while shooting for Karan Johar’s Dostana.

The point of dispute was the nature of the characters they portrayed.

While one won a hip and happening role, that of a suave, confident good looking fashion photographer who makes girls swoon over him, the other had to do with playing a non-interesting male nurse at a hospital. And this one aspect lead the two male leads John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan share cold vibes on the sets of the movie.

But the director Tarun Mansukhani cleared the air about the two hot dudes who are all set to set the silver screen on fire on 14th November.

He said, “Both of them have equally important roles. They are as good off-screen as shown in my film. Unfortunately whatever has been reported about these two is completely untrue. Both of them share extremely good chemistry on and off screen. I feel they are the best couple, hugely complimenting each other.”

He added, “Both are professionals and good friends off screen too and there wasn’t any problem during the shoot. My film will clear all other queries raised by media.”

Whatever be the status of Dostana in real life, the pair of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham is expected to be the latest happening couple on screen.
