Gracy Singh who was part of blockbuster Lagaan, has afterwards suffered a downward spiral as far as her career is concerned.

Even two good projects like Armaan and Munnabhai M.B.B.S could not lift her career up from the doldrums. Rest of her movies were super flops.

And now, Deshdrohi- a C-grade picture she stars in, has been banned by the Maharashtra government due to political controversies.

But Gracy has not lost heart. She is part of an exciting new event. She’ll enthrall the audiences with Rabindranath Tagore’s famous dance ballet ‘Shyama’ in Kolkata, on November 16.
‘Shyama’, is a ballet, a soulful narration of a court dancer (Shyama) falling in love with a foreign merchant (Bajrasen). The entire ballet is presented in the dance form of Bharatnatyam
The project suits her as Gracy is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She thinks it’s challenging but exciting at the same time.
