Two decades and six films later, director Subhash Ghai and actor Anil Kapoor are teaming up for another major project- the movie, Yuvvraaj.

They first came together in the 1985 hit Meri Jung. But they are getting together after 20 years and after collaborating for 6 films.

In Yuvvraaj, Anil Kapoor plays an autistic character called as Gyanesh. This has drawn comparisons to his character Eeswar in the movie by the same name.

“In that film the character was so well etched in people’s memories that they cant forget it,” says actor.

Anil Kapoor also says that despite the duo delivering hits like Ram Lakhan and Karma, they must be ready for the critics’ dissection of Yuvvraaj. “You know how it is when Ghai makes a film they want to tear him apart, they want to rip it, he’s gone through it and I’m sure he’ll go to it again,” adds Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor also says that with Subhash Ghai , he is not too insistent on the script. “When I’m doing a film with Subhash ji its not what draws me to the film, I just do it, my family says why such an exception for him, but there are some filmmakers you share a great relationship with,” adds Anil Kapoor.

The music of the film is climbing the charts and here is hoping the movie will strike a chord with the audience.
