According to reports, in the latest issue of People magazine, ace director Karan Johar has declared that he is not averse to working with Salman Khan.

“If there is an opportunity, a film and a screenplay that needs his presence, I think I would,” he said.

In the same breath he called Salman’s nemesis, Shah Rukh Khan as his elder brother and wife Gauri as his “ soul mate.’

“SRK is not my friend. He is my elder brother. I place him in my father’s position in my life. If I am in a professional mess, I will make the first call to him. And If I am in an emotional mess, Gauri will be the first to know.” he added

He says that stories about his proximity to Shah Rukh have never made his relationship awkward with Gauri. “We laugh about this all the time. Initially, the talks did anger me. But then I became indifferent and now it amuses me. It’s ridiculous,” he quipped.

Karan Johar also named Aditya Chopra, Uday Chopra and Manish Malhotra as his close friends.
