In a collision between a bus of the State Transport and Maruti Van three persons have been killed and four have been seriously injured. The Maruti Van has been very severely damaged.

The police have reported that Bus bearing No MH 12 AU 9517 was going towards Yeola. At the railway crossing it met with an accident with Maruti Van bearing No MH 15 E 2629 coming from the opposite direction. Kailas Jadhav, 40, Sangeeta Jadhav, 35, and van driver Sheikh Shabbir Sheikh Shafi died on the spot. Other four passengers in the van are reported to be seriously injured.

The Bus Driver has been reported to be missing since the accident. The matter is being investigated and a case has been filed by the police. The Jadhav family belonged to Rajapur in Yeola Taluka. The village is under a state of mourning after the accident.
