Vivek Oberoi has been signed for major releases this year after his impressive performance in Shootout at Lokhandwala, last year.

News is just in that he has been signed to play the lead in Karan Johar’s next venture along with Saif ali khan and Kareena Kapoor.

The movie is to start shooting in London from October 2008. It is to be directed by Rensil D’ souza the screenplay writer of hit film, Rang De Basanthi.

The movie is a delicate love story with an unusual twist. Kareena and Saif play terrorists who fall in love.
Meanwhile, Vivek is also starring in Popcorn Motion Pictures and Balaji Telefilms Limited’s Mission Istanbul directed by Apoorva Lakhia along with Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan and Shriya Saran, which is set for release in June.
