Sinnar. A leopard has now been spotted in the Devi Mandir which is very close to the city. Kamal Deshmukh has spotted a leopard at half past two in the night when he heard unusually large number of dogs barking at night. On the second day one Mr Pawan Gade who was moving on his bike spotted a leopard at Five O Clock in the morning.

The citizens of Sinnar are scared by the regular visits of the canine. In the past few days an entire family of Leopards, a pair and tow cubs, has been spotted by villagers in one of the farms. Due to such regular visits by the canine it is felt that an attack on a human being by the animal was imminent. The citizens of Sinnar have made an appeal to the Forest Department officials to take immediate action.
