Modi book to woo RSS top brass
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is all out to woo the Sangh Parivar
with a new book written by him. Since the terms were soured in December 2007 Modi is making several futile attempts to get into the good books of the Sangh Parivar. The book he has written is called Jyotipunj. The story of the book revolves around 15 prominent RSS leaders with whom Modi was never associated.
”I must clarify that the Jyotipunj book is not about the relation between the Sangh leaders and me. It is about how I have watched them and how they have left an indelible impression on my mind,” said Modi in a recent press conference.
However writing the book about RSS leaders is not the only thing, which Modi did; he also got RSS general secretary Mohanrao Bhagwat to unveil his book.
Since he has showcased Sangh activists, the Parivar that was earlier critical of his ways, now is all praises for him. ”People who want to interpret it their own way will do so. They will question why and what Narendra Modi has written. It all depends on their state of mind,” said Bhagwat.
Modi the politician has written eight short story collections for children. However this recent book has nothing to do with children. In fact he has reasons enough to be jubilant as the moment the book was released, RSS workers walked away with each available copy.
