Emraan Hashmi dons Ghostly garb
King of Kisses, Emraan Hashmi is taking on an entirely new avatar, that of a ghost.
A far cry from his image as the most prolific lip-locker in the industry, he is donning the ghostly garb for the Bhatt camp movie,”Raaz- the Mystery continues.”
Emraan Hashmi, who is playing the ghost in this film, said, ” I don’t believe in ghosts, but, if the word ghost exists may be ghosts too exist! It is a different sort of character for me as I am playing a ghost for the first time. For my audiences it will be a new flavor, till today they have seen me in chocolate boy’s role”.
The movie is being directed by young director. Mohit Suri. The Bhatts and Suri are emphatic and working hard to promote the fact that this Raaz – the mystery continues is not a sequel to the first Raaz.
“Please don’t call it Raaz 2. I’d like to clarify I am not remaking Raaz, nor is it a sequel to the film. There’s nothing similar to the previous film except the word ‘Raaz’. My film is an altogether fresh concept,” says producer Mukesh Bhatt.
Mohit Suri is confident about Emraan and his film. “This film is definitely going to score more marks than Raaz because we have used various special effects for the first time in horror scenes.”
Apart from Emraan Hashmi and Kangana Ranaut, it also stars Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan Suman.
Apparently Bipasha Basu was approached but refused. But a happy Kangana Ranaut stepped in.. She said, “I started my career with a Mahesh Bhatt camp film and I am very happy that once again I am working with the same people.”
