In a thrilling match the Bangalore Royal Challengers defeated the Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets.

The win was mainly possible by Mark Boucher who hit a brilliant 39 and made a crucial 55-run partnership with Jacques Kallis.

Batting first the Mumbai Indians scored 165. Robin Uthappa was the hero of the Mumbai innings scoring 48 of 38 balls. In the run chase Rahul Dravid made a scintillating 32 of 33 balls to put the Royal Challengers on the offensive. Thereafter Mark Boucher and Jacques Kallis got a good partnership.
