International actor and martial arts superstar, Jackie Chan has landed in Chennai late on Thursday to attend the music release of Tamil actor Kamal Hassan’s latest magnum opus, “Dasavatharam”.

Jackie Chan, one of the world’s most popular action heroes, arrived in Chennai by a Singapore Airlines flight on Thursday evening. After a red carpet reception at the Anna International airport amidst tight security, Jackie Chan and his 10-member entourage were taken to the Taj Coromadel.A battalion of Tamilnadu police are giving additional security to the actor even though he has his private security guards.
He was joined at the hotel by other guests of the music launch such as Amitabh Bachchan, actress Hema Malini, Tamil actor Vijay and Malayalam super star, Mammootty.

Dasvaratham stars, Asin, Malika sherawat and music director Himesh Reshammiya will join the group at the music launch function this evening.

The function will also be graced by chief minister Karunanidhi along with Kamal Hassan and Amithabh Bachchan and others.

This morning, Hollywood actor Jackie Chan and Indian superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Mammootty watched Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam at an exclusive screening in the Taj coromandel.

The 200 crore movie stars Kamal Hassan in 10 roles from as an ascetic to a George Bush like figure.
