In two entertaining encounters Kings XI defeated Delhi Daredevils and Deccan Chargers beat Mumbai Indians

in the IPL series Cricket Matches.

The Mumbai Indians had their fourth consecutive loss in a totally one sided match. Batting first they scored 154 runs with and average of 7.7. Adam Gilchrist with an unbeaten 109 and VVS Laxman unbeaten at 37 defeated the Mumbai Indians by an innings. This can go down as the biggest defeat for the most expensive team in IPL.

In the second match the Kings XI Punjab defeated Delhi Daredevils by four wickets. Batting first Delhi Daredevils scored 158 runs at an average of 7.9 runs per over. The Kings XI Punjab chased the total and won the match with three balls to spare. The major highlight was 75 runs by Katich.
