Zee cine awards were held in London on saturday night with super stars from Bollywood dazzling the red carpet with their presence.

It was raining awards late into the night. The Best Actor awards were swept by Shah rukh Khan( Chak De India) and Kareena Kapoor (Jab We Met).. Aamir Khan won two awards for his directorial talent (Taarein Zameen Par) while Best Film went to Aditya Chopra’s Chak De India.

Best Debut actor awards went to Ranbir Kapoor(Saawariyan) and Deepika Padukone(Om Shanti Om).Best actor in a comic role went to Vinay Pathak (Bheja Fry). Best music director went to A R Rehman (Guru), Best lyrics to Prasoon Joshi(Taarein Zameen par) and best playback singers went to Shaan (Saawariyan ) and Shreya Ghoshal ( Guru).

The two Khans Salman and Shah Rukh won the special Zee Icon and Zee Variety awards respectively.

The evening function was hosted by funny man Saajid Khan , director Karan Johar and actress Dia Mirza.The glitzy event was hosted by East London’s Excel docklands.

Entertaining and performing at the function were A-list stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan, Shahid kapur and Saif Ali Khan.

Present at the function were Rekha, the Kapoor brood, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Raveena Tandon, Dimple Khanna , Fardeen Khan and Feroz Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Katrina Kaif, Upen Patel and many more.
