Kiss Miss <a href=‘http://www.newsline365.com/tag/mallikaQXYXQsherawat‘>Mallika Sherawat</a> of the dare to bare fame has aroused the ire of a local

irritable party, <a href=‘http://www.newsline365.com/tag/hinduQXYXQmakkalQXYXQkatchi‘>Hindu Makkal Katchi</a> . It was because of her ���revealing��� outfit worn at the launch of the music of Dasvatharam, Kamal Hassan���s magnum opus in Chennai last week.









The organization moved the court against her “provocative“ style of dressing at ‘Dasavatharam‘ audio launch function. HMK activist S R Kaniraj lodged a complaint with the Periyamet police station in Chennai.



The complaint claims that Mallika has “caused mental agony and hurt the sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu by sporting a mini skirt, exposing her back and sitting cross legged in front of the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi���.





In a progressive move, the police have dismissed the plea and said that her outfit was her personal affair. According to the Chennai Police, there will be no action taken on <a href=‘http://www.newsline365.com/tag/mallikaQXYXQsherawat‘>Mallika Sherawat</a> for her stage behavior and dressing sense. Since it is her personal affair, no one has the right to question her.





In the past, the <a href=‘http://www.newsline365.com/tag/hinduQXYXQmakkalQXYXQkatchi‘>Hindu Makkal Katchi</a> had filed a petition over actress Shriya Saran‘s choice of dress at the silver jubilee celebrations of the film Sivaji: The Boss. She had to tender a public apology.



They had also raised a storm over a picture of actress Khushboo seated with her slippers in front of an idol of Hindu deities Lakshmi, Saraswathi and Parvathi, at a film muhurat.



But this time in the case of Mallika, the police have not paid heed to their hue and cry.



Mallika, who has done a cameo in ‘Dasavatharam‘, was also held ���guilty��� of hugging and kissing the Hollywood Superstar Jackie Chan on the stage. It is yet to be known whether the HMK would seek action against this ���anti-cultural��� act in public
