Mumbai Indians upset the mighty Delhi DareDevils
In the most major upset of the tournament till date The Mumbai Indians recorded their second victory by defeating the mighty Delhi DareDevils
who has been at the top thus far. Delhi DareDevils won the toss and choose to field. In an average display of batting the Mumbai Indians scored a mediocre 162 runs with an average of 8.1 runs per over.
Three playes of Mumbai, Jayasuriya, Thornely and Pollock made more than 30 runs. The Delhi Daredevils made a shaky start by loosing star player Gautam Ghambir and S Dhawan, both for an individual score of 1. A good effort by V Sehwag of 40 in 20 balls failed to turn the tables. The Delhi DareDevils were bowled out for 133 runs in 18.5 overs.
