Vodafone subscribers have a great reason to celebrate! Vodafone has recently initiated a move to negotiate with the Apple to materialize their economically potent project of bringing iPhones to Indian soil. These iPhones had started their journey with a price tag of only Rs. 15,960 and Rs. 19,960 for 8 GB and 16 GB sets respectively. As it was a new technology, 2 years free service was offered along with each of these sets. Exact details of Vodafone’s plan to sell iPhones in India’s perspective are yet not known. Any way, a competitive price with enhanced features and services are certainly on card, this time. After becoming iPhone a reality in India, accessibility to Internet will become simple and straightforward.

Though, by introducing iPhone, Vodafone will achieve a business edge over other competitors in the region, but making iPhone a popular mobile choice for the Indian subscribers will be a challenging task In India, Vodafone has a considerable number of customers spread over 16 circles. As most of these are holding prepaid connections, Vodafone has to offer some flexible customer friendly schemes to woo them, else switching over to the new technology will not be an easy affair.
