Kolkata Knight Riders managed to scrounge a 4 run victory over the Bangalore Royal Challengers

in a 16 over match. This slender victory has kept the hopes alive for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

Batting first the Kolkata Knight Riders lost wickets at regular intervals. Ganguly and Hussey were the only impressive batsman who scored 20 and 26 runs respectively. Inspite of loosing wickets at regular intervals the Knight Riders managed a score of 129 in 16 overs.

A brilliant 50 not out by MV Boucher failed to save the Bangalore Royal Challengers from defeat. They had two batsmen run out in a score of 124 in 16 overs. Ganguly was the Man of the Match.
