Nashik, Smooth traffic along the Mumbai Agra Road is the key to economic activity in Nashik. These days there are traffic snags frequently leading to breakdowns. A huge tanker toppled in the Kasara Ghat leading to a major breakdown of more than 8 hours.

When the tankers had just been turned over and traffic was about to commence a huge truck collided against the tanker. This further lead to a delay of more than 8 hours. Finally traffic was restored late night on Saturday.

The repair and recovery infrastructure needs to be improved on this section in order to maintain the flow of traffic between the two cities.
