Two die in road accident on Mumbai Agra Highway
Nashik. The busy Mumbai Agra Highway has consumed two more lives.
A truck bearing registration No RS 36J 591 was carrying Steel Rods from Mumbai to Malegaon. It overturned in the ghats near Chandwad.
Shreebhola Kayas, the driver of the vehicle, and Umesh Katal, the cleaner of the vehicle died on the spot. There were only two persons in the truck when it overturned. Both the casualties were declared dead when they were brought to the hospital. Both the persons are from Rajasthan.
The requirement of a highway patrol with proper ambulance and medical facilities has been expressed many times. If there is proper patrolling of the accident prone sections a number of lives can be saved on the Mumbai Agra highway.
