Tamil superstar Rajnikanth is starring alongside a much younger Aishwarya Rai and the conscious actor has apparently undergone a face-lift to look younger and gel better with his young costar.

The project was initially called Robot but due to some problems with the government regarding tax breaks, the title had to be renamed in Tamil to Endhiran.

In Endhiran, Rajnikanth plays a double role. One role is as a scientist and the other is as a Robot. Aishwarya Rai plays the love interest.

Rajnikanth is the most famous actor in the subcontinent and the highest paid also. For his last picture a super hit called, Sivaji- the Boss, he was paid a whopping sum of Rs 26 crores.

Endhiran has been directed by Shankar and has been filmed in exotic locales all over the world like Machu Picu in Peru.
