With the promos of Luck By Chance featuring Hrithik Roshan going on air these days,
all were wondering whether Hrithik has a meaty role in the movie.

This is because Hrithik and Farhan Akhtar share a good rapport after Lakshya and after all it is Farhan Akhtar’s sister Zoya Akhtar who is directing this film.

But Zoya Akhtar clears the air saying that Hrithik is only doing a cameo. “Yes, let me put it on record that Hrithik would be seen in Luck By Chance mainly in a guest appearance. His is not a parallel role to that of Farhan Akhtar, who is in fact the central protagonist of the film,” declares Zoya.

There is also a buzz about the role of leading lady, which was originally meant for Tabu but is now being played by Kon Kona Sen Sharma. “ Such casting changes do happen during the making of a film. Yes, Tabu was supposed to be in the film but then I had approached other actresses as well. This was some time back when work hadn’t begun on Luck By Chance. Once the film came on floors, things had moved on and Tabu didn’t fit in. This is when Konkona came into picture. But sorry, no controversies here,” Zoya sets the records straight

So does Luck by Chance end as comedy or a tragedy. “Now this is a bizarre question,” snaps Zoya, “How can I tell you the end of the film? You have to watch it to know for yourself. In any case, everyone may have a different perception of looking at a film. What could be a happy ending for me may turn out to be sad for you. It’s the way you look at things.”

She brightens up with a belief that the promos of her film have made heads turn. “If you are wondering about the mood of the film and have started speculating about it’s end then well, I am only happy because it means that the promos have done the trick,” she ends on a positive note.
